Standard Bank sponsored an article to promote its Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA). The bank stated that the idea behind this vehicle is to incentivise South Africans to save, by not taxing them on the growth earned. The bank also provided some education around tax-free savings accounts and investments, as well as the contributions limits and withdrawal implications. Standard Bank said people can ‘seamlessly and rewardingly’ start saving in a Standard Bank Tax-Free Call Account, from as little as R250 per month.
