Standard Bank, recognizing the need to support township businesses, has launched the MyMo Biz solution, aimed at providing a dedicated, low-cost banking account and addressing various operational difficulties. Partnering with ‘Yebo Fresh,’ an e-commerce company, Standard Bank facilitates the delivery of goods to township traders, reducing the need for them to leave their businesses to restock. Additionally, a point-of-sale electronic device is offered to enable convenient payment options and broaden the range of services in township businesses. With the township economy contributing approximately R300 billion to GDP, the potential for growth and economic empowerment is significant.
