Shoprite is urging Sassa beneficiaries in South Africa to switch to its Money Market Accounts amid concerns about the possible liquidation of the South African Post Office (SAPO). Over five million Sassa gold cards are set to expire in the next three months, potentially causing delays in grant payments. Shoprite’s Money Market Accounts offer efficiency and convenience, with beneficiaries able to receive their pay-outs directly into their accounts and withdraw cash or make purchases in-store. Shoprite aims to add as many Sassa beneficiaries as possible to its customer base.
