FNB has expanded its Exchange-Traded Note (ETN) portfolio by adding eight new ETNs, bringing its range of ETN offerings to 50. The new ETNs provide South African investors with affordable access to pivotal global industries, including AI and technology (Nvidia ETNs), tourism and travel (Booking Holdings ETNs), pharmaceuticals (Eli Lilly and Co ETNs) and cybersecurity (Palo Alto Networks ETNs). FNB head of share investing Sebastian Pillay highlighted that the additions align with growth and innovation sectors, addressing local market challenges like JSE delistings and low investment volumes. Pillay added that the move aims to diversify geographic portfolios and democratise investment with a low minimum investment requirement of R10 and no minimum fees.
