Street Wallet does not require a bank account and allows users to withdraw funds via digital vouchers. Despite the growth of digital payments, the South African Reserve Bank highlights barriers such as limited Internet access and high mobile data costs, which hinder the full adoption of a cashless society, particularly in rural and low-income areas.
