Bidvest Life has announced enhancements to its FMI Individual product to help financial advisers meet the evolving expectations of clients and generate more business. Key changes include the removal of the professionals’ list for income protection, now also available to those with an NQF Level 7 education. The company also added Spouse Life and Child Life benefits, a Deferred Life benefit for those with pre-existing conditions and a Life Priority benefit for immediate post-death needs. Additionally, the company reintroduced the Retrenchment Protector for clients with bond cover, and introduced its new Commutation Plus option which allows clients to convert monthly payouts into a lump sum for permanent disability.
