NetcarePlus has launched an affordable healthcare solution targeting employees without medical aid. Called NetcarePlus PrimaryCare, the plan is designed to deliver quality private healthcare for everyday medical needs at an affordable price, giving members access to essential day-to-day healthcare services. A key feature of the NetcarePlus PrimaryCare offering is its partnership with Universal Healthcare which leverages the day-to-day benefits of the Universal Health and Accident plan. Coverage include unlimited GP consultations, chronic and acute medications, dental, optometry care, pathology, radiology and maternity benefits. Additionally, the new plan can be combined with the existing NetcarePlus EmergencyCare plan, which covers private hospital and emergency department treatment for accidents, emergency transport via Netcare 911, daily cash payouts during hospitalisation and trauma counselling.
