Data shows strong growth for the top three primary health insurance providers over the past 18 months, with Momentum’s Health4Me product increasing by 15% in principal membership and lives covered rising by 16%. Conversely, the medical scheme market has stagnated at around 9 million members, with higher costs prompting people to choose efficiency discounted options.
