Investec has launched a new trading app named Clarity, designed for investors and traders. The platform offers instant access to local and global markets, allowing users to trade or invest in over 600 local and international shares and ETFs through Investec-issued contracts for difference (CFDs). Clarity provides flexibility by allowing trading with or without margin at any value. The app also offers features such as the ability to transfer rands into USD, earn interest on funds held in an overnight savings account and live chat functionality for customer support. While currently available exclusively to Investec Private Banking clients, it will be extended to the broader retail market in South Africa in early 2024
