Capitec sponsored an article to promote its Live Better programme. Over the past three months, the bank said it has given its clients over R72 million in cash back and helped them save R500 million, with its automatic savings tool. Capitec said clients can join for free on the app and outlined the monthly goals that need to be reached, to earn cash back. The rewards are paid to the client’s Live Better savings account on ‘Live Better Day’, the 10th of every month. The money in the account accrues interest higher than the client’s savings account and can be transferred out of the account, whenever the client wants that.
