BrandMapp’s latest South African Loyalty Landscape report shows that 73% of South Africans were using reward schemes, at the end of 2022. South Africans apparently subscribe – on average – to nine reward programmes, up from four in 2014. The most used Rewards programmes belong to the retailers, with banks featuring from 7th place onwards. FNB’s eBucks enjoys 34% support, followed by Capitec’s Live Better at 22%. Standard Bank’s UCountand Absa Rewards only enjoy 12% support.
