FNB has introduced a new savings feature for its Easy PAYU and Easy Smart customers, enabling them to earn 5.4% interest on positive balances in their transactional accounts. This includes an interest redirect tool that automatically transfers earned interest into an FNB Savings account, offering higher interest rates of up to 7.8%. The feature complements the company’s existing Bank Your Change® tool, which has already accumulated over R2.6 billion in savings for its customers in the past year. According to the Solidarity Bank Charges Report 2024, FNB’s Easy PAYU and Aspire bank accounts offer the best value for money to South Africans, marking the third consecutive year that FNB has been recognised by the institute for its efforts to make banking more affordable for customers.
