The FIN1k Financial Literacy workshop, organized by Innovator Trust, aims to empower young people aged between 18 and 35 with essential financial and entrepreneurial skills. The four-week program, conducted through digital platforms like WhatsApp, Zoom and Instagram Live, covers topics such as personal finance, entrepreneurship, credit management and savings. Supported by Vodacom, the initiative addresses youth unemployment and encourages entrepreneurial innovation in the technology sector. Over 2 000 young people have completed the program and 1 500 slots were open for the third round which commenced on 10 July 2023.
