1Life has partnered with Dis-Chem to launch an HIV test booking platform with RecoMed. Given that an HIV test is a basic requirement for life insurance products in South Africa, 1Life said it shouldn’t be a pain-point for new clients. The functionality of RecoMed’s platform has been expanded, to enable rapid HIV testing for prospective 1Life clients. Clients will be able to use the RecoMed platform to swiftly book tests, enhancing the client experience and underwriting process. 1Life said this new initiative supports its core mission of giving customers a straightforward, convenient, ‘pleasant’ and quick life policy sign-up process.
