In December 2021, Old Mutual partnered with the Western Cape Government to pilot a Vaxi Taxi mobile vaccination site. In January 2022, the Vaxi Taxi officially hit the road in the Northern suburbs and Tygerberg communities. This initiative aims to assist people in the outlying communities of the Western Cape, who may struggle to access transport, to and from vaccination sites.
