3Sixty Life, a funeral insurer owned by Doves Group Holdings, hopes to emerge from curatorship in the next three to six months. It was placed under curatorship in December 2021 due to a recapitalization plan that was deemed inadequate by the Prudential Authority. Despite being unable to take on new business during the curatorship period, 3Sixty Life has shown better-than-expected performance, particularly in its Risk Life division. The company faced financial difficulties because of higher claims and a shortfall in premium income due to the COVID-19 pandemic but managed to maintain stability and avoid client loss and retrenchments. The positive outcome reaffirms the decision to oppose the curatorship and demonstrates that the company can be revitalized and avoid liquidation.
