Minister in the Presidency for Electricity, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, spoke at the launch of the Resource Mobilisation Fund (RMF) on 09 March 2023. The RMF will assist the government to fully implement the Energy Action Plan, announced by the President in July 2022. The RMF is a collaboration between the government and Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), to provide resources and expertise to “…turbocharge the work of NECOM (the National Energy Crisis Committee)”. The RMF has raised R100 million from businesses and philanthropies to this end.
